Yea, yea . It's been forever -
- since I've updated anything here. I was just setting up the begining of a new album and thought it'd make sense to show that I don't only take shots (of & with) armament. |

As I normally would have promised but for whatever reason didn't, here's a couple (really - only two) shots of the new DPMS upper. More significant - now there's a location for future photos of it. |

Ahhh. Home at last. A couple guys on THR solved some woes I had with the new 19-5 before I even really had a chance to get rolling on complaining about it all. Nice. And - I just got home with the new AR upper. Looks real nice. A couple real minor scratches - just enough to know it's been handled and mounted already. Bold, carrier, etc still look like new as does the bore. Nice. |

Ok. Monday morning.
And just to prove that I'm still well rounded, I'll not bother to mention that I'm going to be picking up a DMPS AR Dissapator A3 upper with a Holosight tonight after work. Oleg! Are you going to stop by my place to get lights? What do you need along with them? Stands? Soft Boxes (only have two of those)? Barn Doors? Right now, everything is set up in a faux studio in my basement - I'll start tearing down after I know what you'll need and when you'll need it. Maybe I could just bring it home Friday night. Just let me know. Very much looking forward to the visit. /r Current Mood: workingCurrent Music: The hum of three computers in a small office |

No - this REALLY isn't a trend anyone needs to worry about.
All the firearms entries are simply because that's the only interesting thing happening. Unless you guys want good detail on things like how I got the old 4runner running and parked away from the front of the garage. OOh! How about a complete accounting on covering the bird bath base in plastic before winter hits. How about, just a link to the new sub gallery in the Armory? Just yesterday, Roger at BPR had taken delivery of a S&W 19-5 that I had bought used, private party. With the addition of a few photos from that, I thought it made a bit of sense to start a small, but meager wheel-gun gallery. Current Mood: okayCurrent Music: That d$#n computer hum |

Ok. I can do this ...
... I've done it before. But this all just seems surreal at the moment. Am I really in the right office? The right building? My first day back to work in a week. This all seems so familiar, yet strange to me at the same time. I know that's my phone, and that this is my monitor I'm watching as I type this. I'm sure that nobody else would have a pile of crap quite like this one. Who else would have a rubber hand reaching off the monitor to hold their head set? This must be mine. What is it that I do, anyway? Maybe there's a clue in all this paperwork... Current Mood: confusedCurrent Music: A low level environmental hum. |

A little mess to clean up ...
The day before yesterday ... just before dd_b and I were going to take off from Nashville, it rained up here in MN. According to Sondra, about 5" in an undefined "short" period. Maybe that would explain the puddle of water on the floor by the ammo locker. The one by the basement window. sighSondra hadn't been downstairs - water coming in a basement window isn't at all a normal thing so she wouldn't have known the water was there. Looks like I have a bit (really - just a bit) of a mess to clean up. I think before I put away what ammo I have left over from the trip I'll put the cabinet on some 2X4 risers. Road trip
Last Thursday, dd_b & I left my house around 17:30 to drive from Mpls to Nashville to visit with olegvolk and hisamishness for a few days. We got back about 14:00 this afternoon after driving through the night. Much fun was had by all. Oleg had a party on Saturday evening, and we hit the public range on Sunday. Pictures to be posted soon as I get some editing taken care of. Thanks for the hospitality Oleg. Current Mood: amusedCurrent Music: A low level environmental hum. |
